At Alco Chemical, the safety of our employees and the community is of utmost importance. We are committed to sustaining safety in the workplace. We have achieved more than 12 Years without a Lost Time accident and are committed to achieving a Total Recordable Case rate of 0.0. We strive to achieve this through a variety of safety programs, developing the safety culture of our people, and by investing in training and equipment. We operate our plant and facilities responsibly and in accordance with all applicable standards and requirements.
We believe that ‘There is nothing we do that is worth getting hurt for’. We extend this principle beyond work to home and family. We provide training and incentives to our employees for working injury free. We perform safety audits and risk analyses to identify potential sources that could compromise the safety of our employees and the community. We implement corrective actions identified to the fullest practical extent and conduct our business responsibly. Alco is a charter member of the Local Emergency Planning Commission (LEPC).
